At Blue Shield of California, there were several Employee Resource Groups that help give a sense of community and belonging to the people throughout the company. One of the groups is the Disability Inclusion Alliance that focuses on supporting those with visible and non-visible disabilities as well as those who take care of loved ones with disability. Oftentimes, the group feel marginalized and othered because of the lack of understanding.

I wanted to create a video to showcase some of our employees within Disability Inclusion Alliance who have powerful, emotional stories in order to create empathy, compassion, and understanding.

I provided art direction to our video partners to make this video come to life.

The short film was well received in the enterprise as there were 285% more comments and 73% more likes than the average of the posts in October 2022.​​
